Welcome to the team, for those who missed the introduction email!!!
I would like to welcome all the new and returning members to our Scorpions family. We are going to have a wonderful year
full of fun and development. The tryouts were an exciting time for me to see many of you in action. I was pleased with what
I saw. It was also a pleasure meeting most of you on registration night.
You girls are a talented group of players. I look forward to working with all of the you and helping the team reach new
levels of play that they never knew they had in them.
First, I would like to thank Fred Marks and Paul Turner for affording me the opportunity to work with such a great group
of girls. Fred and Paul have been working hard to take the club to new heights and you are on board for the journey!
Secondly, I would like to introduce our Team Manager, KAREN ROGERS, who will be your main contact throughout the season.
Karen has plenty of experience managing and communicating with groups and she will be an asset to the team and I want to thank
her for her dedication. Karen and I will be in touch with you with plans and schedules as soon as we finalize the training
dates and location.
Thirdly, Many of you may be asking, "who is this John Barata that will be coaching my daughter?" That is a fair
question and I will be delighted to discuss my qualifications and past soccer experience with you in detail at our TEAM MEETING.
In addition, at this meeting we will review our individual and team goals.
I have attached an outline to keep the meeting brief and informative.
